I delivered back ordered best sellers yesterday to Copia, on Rte. 123 in Vista, Lewisboro.
They have turned the old Tom’s garden center into a fine nursery, gift shop and market. And, they cater to chickens and horses.
My sister and family used to live on East Street, about two miles up. I love the trip there, down, “weeee road”, as we used to call Elmwood.
My reason for giving my cards a title, is based on Wallace Nutting, a NE photographer who titled and hand colored his black and white photos. He had a staff in later years.
Sometimes, I know the title before I take the photo, other times, I invite friends and family to help.
It seems the inspiration always comes. My titles are only a suggestion. The canvas is blank inside for you to elaborate, or not. It takes a bit of time to send someone a note, or card. In this paperless society, I still get a smile when I receive a card with all the junk mail. I hope you will too.
I am so excited about my new winter, Christmas ones currently being printed.
Meanwhile, my cards are available at Books on the Common, Bella Home, Hayfields Copia, and soon to be, two new locations.
I will keep you posted.
Enjoy.
